Go-to-Market Strategy for AI Advisory Firms

Full-Funnel GTM Build for a Mid-Market AI Advisory Firm

Through ongoing research into enterprise AI adoption patterns, Sean identified a notable shift worth acting upon: AI spend had been concentrated almost entirely within enterprise accounts, but it was beginning to trickle down into the mid-market. Having built Mind2Motion.ai from the ground up, capturing this shift required more than merely repositioning an existing offering; it necessitated the development of Synapse, a platform specifically designed to serve this segment, along with the effort to identify the ideal customer profile (ICP): companies in the $10 million to $125 million range that have real, measurable marketing spend.

With the product and ICP defined, the next challenge was the lack of a sales process optimization for this new market. There was no attribution in place, no formal sales structure, and no enablement material. Sean approached the buildout as he would with any client's go-to-market strategy, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure before launching campaigns. He ensured that analytics and Google Search Console were properly instrumented and integrated into his own daily tools, providing performance data on demand rather than relying on post-fact reconstruction. From there, he developed the sales side, mapping how a lead transitions from a booked call or form submission into HubSpot automatically, establishing internal alerts to ensure that qualified leads received same-day follow-ups rather than waiting for someone to check the pipeline. He also produced demo videos, a pitch deck, and supporting marketing collateral focused on addressing the buyer's real pain points, specifically unattributed marketing spend, instead of presenting a generic capabilities pitch. He ran sales training sessions to ensure that this material was actively utilized during calls rather than left in a shared drive.

A significant component of this build was applying Synapse to Mind2Motion’s own processes. He implemented an AI receptionist on the company’s business line before offering the same capability to prospects and developed a website chat agent to manage visitor inquiries, direct them to the appropriate team, capture their contact information, and automate the meeting-booking process.

Only after establishing this foundation did demand generation commence. Sean activated warm referral relationships with specific, targeted requests instead of making a general appeal. He ran a curated outbound list across LinkedIn and email concurrently, rather than pursuing high volume on either channel, while continuing the local and GEO content strategy that had already shown promising traction.

What stands out throughout this engagement is the thoughtful sequencing. Instead of merely repositioning a homepage and hoping the market would respond, Sean built the product, defined its audience, and subsequently established the attribution and sales infrastructure before investing any resources into marketing channels.

Tools utilized included GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Expandi, Apollo, InboxKit, Vapi, Botpress, and Claude API.

Superare Prints

Full-Stack GTM and Operations Build for a Local Manufacturing Business

Sean began the same way he approached Mind2Motion's rebuild: analytics before campaigns. GA4 and Google Search Console were configured for superareusa.com and connected directly into his own tooling via their MCP connectors, alongside a verified Google Business Profile.

Superare had three distinct buyers hidden under one homepage: local government, small business, and consumer, each operating on a completely different sales cycle. Government purchasing runs through procurement portals and vendor certification. Small business had already shown it converts, evidenced by real custom branded work for corporate clients. Consumer inquiries looked like demand but historically weren't, with prospects requesting a quote from a photo and then disappearing. Rather than run one blended campaign across all three, Sean built three separate motions, each targeted specifically at local Florida companies with a focused go-to-market strategy instead of a broad, unfocused push.

Before any sales process optimization began, Sean addressed production capacity, recognizing that outbound activity is worthless if the business can't fulfill what it generates. Running six printers in parallel meant managing more heat, more fumes, and more electrical draw. He installed an inline duct fan to route fumes to an exterior vent rather than letting them accumulate indoors and added multiple dedicated portable air conditioning units to stabilize workspace temperature, a crucial factor affecting print quality and operator comfort, since temperature swings cause warping in certain materials.

With capacity and measurement addressed, Sean developed the go-to-market machinery for the small business track as a full stack rather than a simple list and outreach template. Apollo handles list-building and enrichment, LinkedIn prospecting runs in parallel, and cold email is sent through Instantly from a dedicated domain and mailboxes provisioned through InboxKit, protecting the primary site's deliverability. The sending domain's DNS was configured through Cloudflare.

A particular focus was placed on what happens after a prospect responds. Sean built a quote calculator for the website that lets customers input material, size, quantity, and color count to receive an instant estimate, with each submission automatically creating a contact and deal in HubSpot instead of requiring manual entry. He also integrated e-commerce natively into the existing WordPress site through WooCommerce rather than standing up a separate storefront platform, with payments handled through WooCommerce's built-in gateway, so a commissioned order or a required deposit gets collected and tracked in the same system as everything else.

Sean also converted an AI receptionist he'd already built and tested internally into a customer-facing tool, handling quote-status calls and general inquiries. The receptionist and the new outbound work both route to a dedicated landing page built around the theme 'bring your ideas to life,' the core message underlying all three customer segments, whether the buyer is a municipal procurement office or an individual commissioning a single custom piece.

Sean treated the ability to fulfill demand as equally important as the ability to generate it, successfully avoiding the common failure mode where a campaign outpaces the internal operations of the business behind it.

Silicon Sky

Building a Channel-Led GTM Engine

Silicon Sky had real depth in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services, established in South Africa. However, possessing technical capability and effectively conveying that capability to the US market involves two distinct challenges, and this gap often causes international companies to stall. You can't simply enter the US enterprise and public-sector market with exceptional engineering and expect buyers to find you or trust an unfamiliar name on a contract. Thus, the actual work wasn't technical; it was about translation: transforming deep capability into a form that a US buyer could grasp, position, and ultimately purchase.

Sean approached the challenge by defining target markets, buyer profiles, and priority use cases, which formed the foundation for the commercial processes necessary for sales process optimization. He developed qualification procedures, opportunity management, proposals, and follow-up strategies, ensuring that pipeline activity linked back to tangible revenue goals rather than just keeping busy. However, the key aspect for a company entering the US market was channel strategy. He secured a strategic partnership with Carahsoft, enabling an established US sales force to resell Silicon Sky's services effectively.

The public-sector aspect was equally crucial, if not more so. Sean played an instrumental role in securing Silicon Sky's approval on NASPO and NCPA state contracts. This may seem like mere paperwork, but government buyers often cannot make purchases without that approval, regardless of the technology's quality. Facilitating a foreign entity through this process, while coordinating with internal and partner stakeholders, converted real capability into actual purchasable access.

Furthermore, he collaborated directly with channel sellers and Silicon Sky's own team, providing coaching on discovery and qualification while emphasizing how to connect a customer's business risk to a technical solution rather than leading solely with specifications. A partner reseller that doesn't grasp what they're selling cannot effectively sell it, highlighting the importance of aligning with AI advisory firms to enhance understanding and communication.

Systech USA

Standing Up a US Sales Operation for a Brazilian Technology Company

Systech USA emerged from Brazil with robust technology and vendor relationships but lacked the necessary infrastructure to execute a successful go-to-market strategy in the US. There was no sales operation, no marketing motion, and no channel presence to implement any business strategy. The assignment was clear: build everything from the ground up while creating a tangible path to revenue, rather than producing a strategy document that would merely gather dust in a drawer.

Sean approached the task of establishing the sales and marketing operation as he would a commercial foundation from scratch: he identified target accounts and segments, translated technical capabilities into offerings that a US buyer would recognize, and initiated sales process optimization by developing prospecting, qualification, and opportunity-management processes. These efforts connected directly to executive reporting, allowing leadership to track revenue movement effectively.

The more challenging aspect, which truly made the US entry feasible, involved vendor and distribution partnerships. He collaborated directly with stakeholders and management at Dell and other distribution partners, such as TD Synnex and Arrow Distribution, to ensure aligned product access, services, and delivery systems. This collaboration enabled Systech to credibly pursue sizable US opportunities rather than competing solely on price. These established relationships notably supported the Southeast expansion, as vendor trust and distribution channels develop more rapidly than a new company’s reputation.

Additionally, Sean built out the quoting and proposal machinery, pricing coordination, scopes of work, contract support, and the handoff processes from sales to delivery. It’s crucial for a Brazilian company entering a new market to have a seamless buying process; otherwise, they risk losing deals despite having superior technology. Making this process feel familiar and quick to a US buyer was as integral to the role as the selling itself.
